Our passion for the Gospel finds expression in our mission.
We exist to glorify God, by building a community of believers who are actively knowing, applying, and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Mission statements are en vogue today. Our mission is not a product derived from our culture, but a mandate from the risen Christ (Matt. 28). The love of Christ compels us (2 Cor. 5:14) to know Him and to make Him known. By virtue of Christ's victory on the cross and His resurrection from the dead, He has secured salvation for men and women from every tribe and tongue and language and nation on planet earth (Rev. 5). God, who determines the times and the boundaries of all people, (Acts 17) has uniquely placed us in Cobb and Cherokee counties to be His witnesses. Our mission as a church is ultimately a function of what He has accomplished in and through the Gospel, and He has sent His Spirit to empower us to join Him where He is already at work.
