Aaron Anderson - Lead Pastor
Aaron grew up in a small town in Eastlake, Michigan. In 1999. Two years after becoming a Christian, he moved to Virginia and joined Sovereign Grace Church of Chesapeake. After taking the time to get to know Aaron, the local leadership recognized and affirmed his call to full-time pastoral ministry. He attended Sovereign Grace Ministry’s Pastors’ College for further training and equipping in the ministry. Upon graduation in 2003, Aaron returned to Chesapeake, VA where he served on staff as a pastor-in-training. In 2005 the Andersons moved to Atlanta to become part of the pastoral team of Sovereign Grace Church Woodstock. Since 2006 Aaron has been serving here as the lead pastor. Aaron married his grade school sweetheart, Sara, and they have four children, Mea, Charlie, Ben and Jimmy.
Brett Campbell - Pastor
Brett was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1989 he sensed a call of God on his life for full-time pastoral ministry and, after a time, began serving as an associate pastor in Augusta, Georgia. In 1994 Brett moved to Virginia Beach, VA to attend seminary at Regent University School of Divinity. At the same time, the Campbells became members of Sovereign Grace Church of Chesapeake. In 1997 Brett graduated with a Masters of Divinity in Practical Theology and joined the pastoral team in Chesapeake. In 2012 the Campbells relocated again, this time to Atlanta, where Brett currently serves with Aaron Anderson as a pastor. Brett and Michelle have three children, Benjamin, Amanda and Candace.
